I was in the Sun one time
Mostly trying not to get burnt
And if I fall along the way, I said, That’s fine.
OK, as long as I don’t get hurt.
Some think it’s fine to pack your bags and look around a little
Just so you don’t forget your home town
One day while walking on the edge I hit a patch of gravel
And it’s a long way down…
Oh, the canyon I’ve fallen in
Gotta get me out now
Oh, the height I’ve gotta climb, my soul’s penniless, and I…
I’ve dug a deep one this time.
I’ve got a remote control racer
It goes as fast or slow as I tell it to go
And if it wrecks, you see, it really doesn’t matter
‘Cause my daddy’s got the dough
We’d march right to the store and purchase me a couple more
This time with turbo engines, too
But that’s not the way “the man upstairs”, as we have coined the term
Wills for me and you… I slipped again…
I’ve really dug a deep hole this time, haven’t I?
